Sportsafe is part of Gymleader New Zealand Limited, who have been around for nearly 50 years supplying and installing Gymnasium related equipment into school gyms and recreation centres around New Zealand.

Sportsafe emerged from the need to develop a preventative approach to equipment maintenance.  

The Health and Safety Act (1992) places the responsibility of safety on employers and facility owners, so our aim is to help you comply with requirements and, in turn, prolong the life of your gymnasium equipment.

SPORTSAFE SERVICES

Regular programmed inspection and maintenance of equipment through:

- Written reports of the condition of equipment.

- Safety certification of equipment.

- Recording of maintenance history.

- Repair of worn or damaged equipment.

- Professional installation of all gymnasium equipment.

- Training of gymnasium staff on the correct use and safety procedures.

- In the unlikely event of equipment failure, inspection to determine cause and expert testimony.

- Consultation services for the purchase of new equipment.

SPORTSAFE SCHOOLS PROGRAMME

Sportsafe appreciates the specific requirements of school management and offer a special range of services that will ensure both safety and make the maximum use of the gymnasium equipment.

Annual fixed-cost inspections of all gymnasium equipment including wall and ceiling mounting points.

Detailed reporting of the condition of equipment complete with costs to repair or replace as required plus details of items requiring future attention.

Repair and/or replacement of equipment can be prioritised to suit your budget.

Certificates issued for inspected equipment.
